
Sights of Munich. The English Garden (Englischer Garten) - the largest in Germany (the total area is of 5 square km.) - a very popular holiday destination for residents and tourists. It was created by Friedrich Ludwig Skele, and open for public in 1808.
Main attractions of Englischer Garten: The Chinese pagoda (XVIII cent.), the Japanese teahouse, the Monopteros temple, beer gardens under the open air. It is famous all over the world thank to special areas, where nudists are allowed to sunbath. This tradition has begun here in 1960 th for the first time.
